Altar for Hot Water / Tado Pani
2023

Clay, found objects, oil on canvas.
An installation created on reflection after returning to England from Nepal, exploring personal feelings of nostalgia, transience and a sense of home away from home. This work commemorates the sacred and formative experience of immersing within a different country, then later grappling with only the memories and small material remnants.
